Trocaire and partners’ team including Duterimbere, conducted a field visit to assess selected livelihood and business interventions through a Market Systems Development (MSD) lens. The visit covered six initiatives, including livestock financing, lime, mobile money and VSLA digitalisation, tree nursery, mushroom production and a climate change information center. The teams appreciated the progress and community benefits, particularly in income generation, financial inclusion, environmental conservation and climate resilience, while identifying opportunities to strengthen market linkages, sustainability and scaling.
