PGR Training: Turning Reflection into Change.

Duterimbere ONG, in partnership with Trócaire, conducted a Participatory Gender Review (PGR) with community members and GALS Champions in Karongi District under the Climate Justice Programme (CJP). Participants shared inspiring changes in joint household decision-making, couple communication, gender relations, household planning and women’s economic empowerment. Around 86% of GALS Champions reported achieving the goals and visions they had set, reflecting the positive impact of the approach. The excitement and testimonies from participants demonstrate growing commitment to building more equitable, empowered and resilient families and communities.
