On 5th July 2026, Duterimbere convened 2 Regional General Assembly meetings in Rusizi district which combines Rusizi and Nyamasheke districts, as well as Rwamagana district combining Kayonza, rwamagana, Ngoma and Kirehe districts bringing together members from the respective regions. The meetings focused on areas of financial inclusion, reflection on organizational achievements and future strategic priorities. Members were encouraged to strengthen income-generating initiatives through cooperatives and VSLAs, while discussions also highlighted the importance of engaging the youth to sustain Duterimbere’s legacy of economic empowerment and community development.
