DUTERIMBERE ONG currently relies on donors to finance its operating budget. To ensure sustainability of various project impacts there is a need for internal resources to facilitate the Organization’s own internal expenditures and also support Beneficiaries in coaching, follow up and linkages to either market and financial institutions for both market and financial access. The board, therefore, is of the view that a project of this nature will be a good vehicle to deliver this goal by helping to complement funding from other sources and hence become more sustainable. This, in the long run, will also enable the organization to achieve both her vision and mission. The Organization’s target is to create a mixed-use development project, which can provide office space, exhibition halls mainly for our beneficiaries, conference facilities, banking hall and offices to house Duterimbere NGO as well.
