Duterimbere ONG staff (Mr. Fredric Rwibasira) explaining to Oxfam Rwanda Country Director (Mr. Patrick Wajero) and the Oxfam Regional Director during their interactive session with representatives of beneficiaries at Mille colline Hotel in Kigali. This was during the visit of Oxfam regional Director and fellow staff at Nairobi office to Rwanda on 14th June 2018. In this session, 5 women enterprises were represented by women who explained their engagement with the smallholder farmers who supply raw materials to their processing enterprises and how this engagement has provided employment to the rural women and hence economic empowerment.

One of the beneficiaries engaged in the production of tree tomato grafted seedlings, fruits and strawberry explains how she applies the technology of grafting the Tree tomato seedling. She also grows flowers and has markets both from Kigali and Urwibutso Enterprise in Rulindo District. Duterimbere ONG in partnership with Oxfam has support her in her business and she is now a facilitator to the other community women.
